Ohio Rush U12's won their division of the Northern Ohio Cup 2011
The Ohio Rush U12 Nike Team was crowned Champions at the Northern Ohio Cup in their division. The
team finished the tournament with three wins and a tie to take home the top honors. Along the way
the team amassed 29 goals for and conceded only 5 goals. The team is comprised of members from the
following communities: Highland, Medina, Revere, Cloverleaf, Brunswick and North Royalton. The boys
will travel to Dublin Ohio in two weeks to compete in the Nike Challenge Cup before competing in the
Ohio North State Cup May 14th and 15th. Way to go boys!

Rush Soccer is excited to announce our newest partner: Ohio Rush!
Formerly the Northern Ohio Elite Soccer Academy, the new Ohio Rush look to make an immediate impact on the soccer landscape in Northeast Ohio. The addition of Ohio Rush marks the 27th domestic club and brings the overall number of partner clubs to 40 worldwide.
Rush Soccer President and CEO Tim Schulz is thrilled with the new partnership saying, "I think Ohio Rush is gong to be a great partner. These guys are willing to go to work and create a club that has some very strong values. We look forward to the relationship with these good people."
Andrew Kummer, Technical Director for Rush Soccer echoed Schulz's comments stating, "Ohio is a great addition to the Rush family. We have already experienced working with their highly motivated and energetic staff that will provide the leadership to take this organization to new heights."

Youth coach named the best in region
Scott Simpson of Wadsworth has been named the Region II girls recreation coach of the year for youth soccer by US Youth Soccer.
Simpson, director of coaching and player development for the Wadsworth Area Soccer Association, helped create the Grizzly Cub Academy for girls 4 to 8 years old.
